Idli kadai movie Storyline and Plot
This story is about a young man named Murugan (Dhanush) who has a choice between a rich, modern life and his simple village roots.
Murugan is a talented chef. He leaves his small village of Sankarapuram and his father’s humble but popular Idli Shop to pursue a big career abroad in Bangkok. He finds a job with a multi-millionaire, Vishnu Vardhan (Sathyaraj), and gets engaged to his daughter. Murugan is living a life of luxury, but he often faces insults from his boss’s arrogant son, Ashwin (Arun Vijay).
His father, Sivanesan (Rajkiran), runs the idli shop with a lot of pride and simple values. For him, the shop is more than just a business, it’s the heart of their home.An emotional personal tragedy forces Murugan to return home to Sankarapuram. Back in his village, he realizes how much his father’s shop means to the community and to his own identity. He decides to stay and revive his family’s legacy by running the Idli Shop.
This decision angers Vishnu Vardhan and especially his egoistic son, Ashwin, who feels disrespected and wants revenge.
